Role description and task arrangements

Trainer / part time (24/32) / Secondment and Freelance 

Reporting to the Training Lead, you will be responsible for the following tasks, which may all be delivered in English and/or French languages, and in multiple countries as directed by the Training Lead or the Business Delivery Lead:
 
  • Design and development of comprehensive training programs and materials to meet the CRS Ecosystem International Program's training needs.
  • Deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars on various IT topics to colleagues at different levels within the organization in the countries identified.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop appropriate training solutions per country.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with country subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather and validate training content and materials.
  • Set up, maintain, and constantly review the flow and user experience of self-help applications deployed on the estate.
  • Help maintain the Program Induction and Training websites to ensure they are current, relevant, and valuable to new and existing program colleagues, including translation to local languages where necessary.
  • Support the training and induction strategy and approach and contribute to improvements in the content and delivery mechanisms for the biggest positive impact.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees who require additional assistance or guidance in training subject matter areas in English and/or German as required.
  • Assist in the implementation and adoption of new processes, solutions, and applications by providing training and support to end-users.
  • Develop and maintain training documentation, manuals, and online resources for easy reference and self-guided learning.

Skills and experience that will lead to success.
 
  • Greater than 10 years Experience of large scale insurance projects - knowledge of insurance concepts and terminology.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with leading business and technical subject matter experts.
  • Flexibility to work with diverse teams from different countries and cultures.
  • Curiosity to influence decisions such that they align to program strategy.
  • Self-motivated and able to take leadership on areas of work assigned.
  • Fluent English and French. Additional language skills in Dutch and German a distinct advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a benefit.
  • Proven experience working as an IT Trainer.
  • Certification in instructional design or training methodologies is preferred.
  • Industry certifications in relevant IT areas, such as Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with demand management and the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems self-help applications and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing technology and training needs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners in English and German as a minimum.
  • Ability to design, develop and maintain training and induction websites with great user experience built in.
