Trainer Content Creator - Contract
 
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer and content author to join our team. As a Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of our colleagues in various Insurance related IT application areas.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our workforce is equipped with the necessary skills to effectively utilise technology and stay up to date with the latest application and process developments. This role requires a strong blend of training delivery experience including face to face classroom style delivery, technical expertise, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills.
The best part - it's a hybrid role, giving you the flexibility to work at home and visit our offices as necessary to meet with colleagues and train them on the courses the team has prepared - it all depends on you and the moments that matter.

What the day will look like.
 
Reporting to the Training workstream Lead, you will be responsible for:
 
  • Design and author comprehensive training programs and materials to meet the CRS Ecosystem International Program's training needs.
  • Deliver training sessions, workshops, training classes and seminars on various IT topics to colleagues at different levels within the organization both online and at various office locations.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop appropriate training solutions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather and validate training content and materials.
  • Help maintain the Program Induction and Training websites to ensure they are current, relevant, and valuable to new and existing program colleagues.
  • Contribute to the training strategy and approach and continuously improve the content and delivery mechanisms for the biggest positive impact.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees who require additional assistance or guidance in training subject matter areas.
  • Assist in the implementation and adoption of new processes, solutions, and applications by providing training and support to end-users.
  • Develop and maintain training documentation, manuals, lessons, evaluation mechanisms and online resources for easy reference and self-guided learning.
Skills and experience that will lead to success.
 
  • Greater than 10 years Experience of large scale insurance or financial services projects - knowledge of insurance concepts and terminology.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with leading business and technical subject matter experts.
  • Flexibility to work with diverse teams from different countries and cultures in different languages.
  • Curiosity to influence decisions such that they align to program strategy.
  • Self-motivated and able to take leadership on areas of work assigned.
  • Fluent English. Additional language skills in French or Dutch at a minimum of professional business level will be a distinct advantage.
  • Proven experience working as an IT Trainer and content creator.
  • Certification in instructional design or training methodologies is preferred.
  • Industry certifications in relevant IT areas, such as Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems self-help applications and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and training needs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
  • Ability to collaborate with the wider training team to deliver continuous improvements and innovation to benefit end user trainees.
