Senior Business Analyst – Time Recording

 
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team for a significant role supporting a major rollout of a global time recording system. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating the deployment of applications and integrations across diverse geographical locations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless integration for the commercial risk business.

What the day will look like.
 
Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:
 
  • Relationship management working directly with colleagues in country to understand their time recording processes and requirements.
  • Analyzing local time recording processes and requirements to identify and justify necessary deviations from global processes and solutions.
  • Producing a range of Business Analysis outputs including, but not limited to, business requirements, business process diagrams, use case diagrams, user stories, user journeys, acceptance criteria, and high-level test cases.
  • Liaising with Product Owners and Solution Architects to ensure the solutioning and development process is efficient, effective, and transparent to the business.

Skills and experience that will lead to success.
 
  • Experience of large-scale insurance projects – knowledge of insurance concepts and terminology.
  • Experience with time recording application implementations; experience with Workday GTT is a significant advantage.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with leading business and technical subject matter experts across multiple time zones.
  • Flexibility and empathy to work with diverse cultures.
  • Exercise curiosity to influence decisions such that they align with program strategy.
  • Self-motivated and able to take leadership on areas of work assigned.
  • Ability to see the big picture but equally drill down to low-level detail when required.
  • Advanced business analysis skills and analytical ability to understand complex subjects and transfer that knowledge into required deliverables.
  • Understanding of data privacy legislation, GDPR, and Privacy Impact Assessments
  • Fluent English and one of German, Dutch, or French.
  • Excellent authoring and document review skills and vocabulary
  • Negotiation, influencing and conflict management skills.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to maintain trust at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and business analysis methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering, process mapping, and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is desirable.
