Collaborate on the future of nature monitoring in the Netherlands.
Are you an experienced ecologist with a passion for nature and policy? Do you want to make a real impact on the conservation of biodiversity in the Netherlands? Then this is your chance to work on an urgent nature program. The national improvement program VHR monitoring (VVM), is looking for reinforcement!
We are looking for passionate ecological advisors who want to play a key role in improving the monitoring and reporting of nature data on behalf of the national government (ministries of LVVN, I&W, Defence) and the collaborating provinces.
What you will do
As an ecological consultant, you will contribute to the development of assessment frameworks for the quality of habitat types. You will work intensively with senior ecologists, species experts and policy makers on projects with direct societal relevance.

- You move effortlessly in a complex environment with diverse stakeholders.
What do you bring?
- HBO/WO working and thinking level
- Three years of experience as an ecologist or ecological consultant
- Content knowledge of habitat types
- Experience in a managerially complex, multi-stakeholder environment
- You understand different interests and promote cooperation
