Who we are
BIJ12 is the implementing organization for the 12 provinces and brings together knowledge and information about the rural area and physical environment in the Netherlands. BIJ12 ensures uniformity in information supply and implementation of provincial regulations.
This is being worked on from 4 units:
  • Fauna Affairs and ACSG (Advisory Committee on Groundwater Damage).
  • Nature Information and Nature Management
  • GBO to manage shared information systems.
  • Nitrogen and Natura 2000
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and decisive advisor/project leader Agricultural Nature and Landscape Management to strengthen the unit Nature Information and Nature Management. In this role you will work within the framework of the Subsidy System for Nature and Landscape (SNL) on the implementation and execution of Agricultural Nature and Landscape Management (ANLb). The coming years will see significant investments in management and development of agricultural nature in the Netherlands. The central government has a great ambition to give a boost to agricultural nature in the Netherlands from 2026. The subsidy system Agrarian Nature and Landscape Management (ANLb) is an important part of this. The provinces will work together with the national government and other chain partners such as BoerenNatuur, RVO and the NVWA, in the coming years to further develop this system. Also, preparations for the new period of the European Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) are already beginning. The ANLb is part of the Dutch elaboration of this in the National Strategic Plan. This means that the changes for ANLb that come out of the further development should also be taken to Europe.

What will you do in this position:

  • You cooperate within the ANLb group of team Nature Management, you actively think with colleagues on relevant ANLb topics and you contribute to good coordination with chain partners.
  • In doing so, you work as an advisor or project leader in a number of subprojects, such as, for example, Attack Plan Black-tailed Godwit, Ecological Evaluation, Policy Monitoring ANLb and Attack Plan Landscape.
  • You can also be used to ensure consistency with policy files, such as the Nature Restoration Ordinance, manure policy and the infraction procedure Black-tailed Godwit.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Interprovincial Consultation (IPO) on policy development and strategy on these topics
  • You may be employed as substantive secretary of structural meetings, monitoring the progress of subtopics.
  • You prepare advice for the various consultations with provinces and network partners in (agricultural) nature management;
