Role description and task arrangements
Who we are
BIJ12 is the implementing organization for the 12 provinces and brings together knowledge and information about the rural area and physical environment in the Netherlands. BIJ12 ensures uniformity in information supply and implementation of provincial regulations.
BIJ12 has started a program to change the application landscape to a future-proof, secure and flexible IT infrastructure that supports provinces cost-effectively in their information provision and societal tasks. The program includes four projects:
What you will do
As Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and adoption of the Azure Cloud Landing Zone within the organization. You are also responsible for the execution of the migration process of the applications to this new cloud environment. You will work closely with stakeholders, cloud engineers and security teams from the Cloud Center of Excellence to be established to set up and optimize a secure, scalable and compliant cloud environment.
You will ensure a streamlined implementation process, monitor progress and ensure alignment with strategic IT objectives. You have a solid understanding of cloud governance, security and automation within Azure and know how to effectively guide an organization through the transition to a cloud-first approach.
You support users in successfully adopting new ways of working by organizing training and knowledge sessions. With your proactive approach, you prevent risks, are able to resolve incidents effectively and contribute to a stable, secure and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.
You are a sparring partner for the other project leaders and the program manager and support where necessary with your knowledge and experience.
32-36 hours per week
Options to extend: 2 x 6 months
Renewal is on otherwise unchanged contractual terms (including the hourly rate).

- Realizing a European tender for IT services;
