As a Wmo consultant, you work a lot with people and no day is the same.
You interact with residents about their request for help. Often you make house calls. You examine the request for help and look for good solutions together. You are accessible in contact and ask critical questions. You stimulate the own initiative and the own strength of the resident and the social network and you work together with other social partners, such as general practitioners, district nurses, social work and other social workers. Where necessary you will also provide solutions from the Wmo, such as wheelchairs, transport facilities, housing adjustments, domestic help, guidance and day care.
The Wmo consultants are part of our Social Hus; this is one place where all requests for support from residents of the municipality of Borne come in. In and from the Social Hus our colleagues work together to provide residents with fast and appropriate support. Accessible, personal and practical.
What else will you do?
What do you bring?
This is Borne!
Borne's strength is small scale! People "know" each other and feel mutual commitment. In Borne, the challenges are great. So are the opportunities. Being able and allowed to be yourself; that is important to us! We appreciate, accept and respect each other for who we are. We are a connecting and directing partner. We are strong in our work, together with each other and with the Born community. The coming years we will continue to build an organization where it is pleasant to work, where you are seen as an employee and where you feel that you are contributing to a better Borne. Will you help us build our way forward?
