Consultant/project leader circular economy

Are you ready to really set the circular transition in motion? As consultant/project manager circular economy you get the chance to not only make policy, but especially to create impact. You are the driver who translates circularity into concrete actions and innovative solutions. You turn strategy into results, inspire colleagues and administrators and build strong partnerships with companies, governments and knowledge institutions.

What will you do?
As consultant/project leader circular economy you will have a varied range of tasks, which can be filled to your own discretion in consultation with the program director. The position requires a lot of your own sense of responsibility to want to take the transition to a circular economy further. Among other things, you will work on:
  • Co-draft, implement, coordinate, monitor and update the Circular Economy course document and action program.
  • Implementing circular principles and strategies into the work of colleagues, teams and departments.
  • Advise and support colleagues and administrators on circularity issues.
  • Actively participate in regional and national networks.
  • Seek collaborations with stakeholders (entrepreneurs, residents, other municipalities, civic initiatives, etc.) in the area of circular economy.
  • Maintain relevant network contacts with companies, governments and knowledge institutions.

What do you need for that?
 
  • Knowledge and experience:You have a relevant education at college/university level (e.g. in sustainability, environmental science, public administration or business administration) and demonstrable affinity with circular economy.
  • Strategic insight: You can translate trends and developments within the circular economy into policy and concrete actions.
  • Project and process skills: You have experience in project-based work and know how to connect and enthuse various stakeholders.
  • Collaborative: You are a networker and connector, both within the organization and with external parties such as companies, governments and knowledge institutions.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented: You know how to get to the bottom of complex issues and can provide practical and results-oriented advice.
  • Creativity and Innovation: You think in terms of opportunities and know how to inspire others to apply circular principles in their work.
  • Independence and proactivity: You take initiative and have the perseverance to really put circular economy on the map.
