Cultural history policy advisor

You have a passion for culture and want to contribute to the preservation of our heritage. With your strategic insight you create support for cultural heritage initiatives and advise colleagues and stakeholders. What will you do?
  • For Tubbergen and Dinkelland you are the first point of contact regarding cultural history for residents and colleagues and administrators.
  • You actively work on monument policy, liaise on this, organize inspections and maintain the heritage register,
  • As part of this, you will also ensure coordination with mill management foundations and granted grants.
  • Finally, you will provide policy and management of the municipal artwork collection.
  • Your policy area interfaces with other policy areas. You consciously seek collaboration across organizational units. 
  • You do what is necessary for a conscious society. You initiate and maintain relationships with our cooperation partners and are always close by in an efficient way.
  • You also answer council questions, write college proposals and advise colleagues and administrators.

What do you need for that?

* Because we work from self-organizing teams, you are expected to organize your own work, guard your boundaries, be visible to your colleagues and actively seek collaboration.
  • You understand the role of public servant in a political-administrative environment.
  • We work for and with our residents, you are open to community initiatives and together find a way to achieve results.
  • You have an affinity for numbers and finance and know how to handle your budgets appropriately.
  • You have experience drafting policy briefs and demonstrable knowledge of cultural history.
  • You preferably have working experience as a policy advisor and have an HBO working and thinking level.
