Role description and task arrangements
What will you do:
- Writing the Public Housing Program for the Municipality of Hengelo 2026-2040
- The translation of the Public Housing Program into the multi-year performance agreements with the housing corporations.
Coordination with inter- and external stakeholders will take place for the preparation of both products. This is done as much as possible by using and participating in existing consultation structures of the municipality of Hengelo. In order to ensure the connection between the existing and the new performance agreements to be drawn up, this assignment will include the coordination of the implementation of the current performance agreements (with a focus on housing status holders and expansion of the social rental stock), reporting to the council and drawing up an evaluation of the current performance agreements in preparation for the new multi-year performance agreements.

July 2025 delivery of draft Public Housing Program
- October 2025 finalize evaluation of performance agreements and proposal for draft of new multi-year performance agreements
- November 2025* finalize decision-making process Public Housing Program (with option to postpone until April 2026)
- December 2025 delivery of performance agreements and guidance on decision-making process
