Within the Projects, Real Estate and Land Affairs team is an interim assignment for an:

Project Manager of Projects, Real Estate and Land Affairs


What will you do?
As project leader you are integrally responsible for managing the project organization so that the various project team members can realize the work and the set goals, within the established frameworks. In this position you focus mainly on physical projects, such as redevelopment of (residential) neighborhoods, transformation of buildings or area development.
You are responsible for the project from the initiative phase and project startup to the aftercare phase. So from project startup until the project moves to management. You advise on the course to be followed and you ensure the execution of the project within the predefined frameworks.
During the projects you make appointments and consult with external partners, interest groups and other stakeholders in consultation with your client and project team members. Of course you will regularly inform your client as well as the management, the project alderman and the municipal executive about the state of affairs.

As a project leader, your efforts will contribute to projects such as new housing estate Dalmeden, the transformation of the old Badhuis into new apartments or the renovated market square: projects that we as Hengelo can be proud of.
For the coming period, we are looking for a project leader who will work on the
the renovation of the Oele High Voltage Station, the refurbishment of a community center and to the Hart van Zuid traffic measures and so on, as well as other fine projects that contribute to the developments of Hengelo. Of course, you don't do this alone. Besides collaborating with various substantive disciplines, you can also fall back on a dozen enthusiastic fellow project leaders and five project employees within the projects cluster.

Who are you?
You are the project manager who has experience with area developments. You know how best to lead project teams in different phases of a project. Even in difficult situations, you ensure good agreements, the right atmosphere and energy in your project team. Preferably, you already work from the philosophy of Project-based Creation (PMC), in which you have an eye for personal leadership, cooperation, environment and the influence of the organizational culture on a project in addition to project direction.

You:
  • Are a decisive, results-oriented and connecting project leader with extensive experience
  • Have proven experience in the field and have strong analytical skills, a collaborative and connecting attitude and good communication skills;
  • Have college degree, in an appropriate field
  • Have experience with area developments;
  • Easily addresses people about their behavior, works transparently and is able to connect;
  • Are well experienced in leading professionals where you dare and are able to place a critical note and also able to receive it.
  • Knowledge and experience with TenneT projects is a requirement.
  • Working with Project-based Creation (PMC) is a plus.
