As housing policy advisor you are responsible for advising and researching developments in the field of housing and public housing. You are able to translate these developments from the vision on housing into policy documents and know how to advise on these. In housing developments you supervise and maintain contact with other authorities, neighboring municipalities, housing corporations and market parties. You communicate easily with the college and your administrative colleagues as well as the city council and residents. You are able to make well-founded considerations, you negotiate, take well-considered risks and where necessary you reach consensus. You are the initiator for the strategic choices in the field of (temporary) social housing and guide these in the decision-making process. Twenterand is developing and has the ambition to realize sufficient and appropriate housing for our residents. We actively seek integral cooperation and connections with health care and land matters, all aimed at a sustainable society.
