Are you an analyst with a keen eye for legal-financial issues? Do you want to contribute to future-proof investments and legal issues within sports policy, privatization and property management? Then we are looking for you!

Legal/Financial Advisor falls under the Real Estate and Land Affairs team. With your fellow specialists within the Real Estate and Land Affairs team, you will contribute to the municipal real estate portfolio. In addition, the team is responsible for the spatial development of Twenterand. This includes housing projects; projects to realize businesses; projects with a municipal land exploitation, larger projects of market parties in which the municipality facilitates and projects financed with municipal funds.

What will you do?
As a Legal/Financial Advisor, you are a key figure in financial and legal considerations within our policy. You ensure that investments are profitable, contracts are legally watertight and collaborations are well organized. You will have the space to use and further develop your expertise in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
Key Tasks:
 
  • Conduct financial analyses to determine whether investments cover costs;
  • Contribute to budgets, financial statements and financial reports;
  • Support and advise budget managers;
  • Drafting and reviewing legal agreements, such as cooperation, operating, purchase and sale agreements;
  • Advise on real estate and land matters, including rent, leases, rights in rem and prescription;
  • Assist in legal proceedings and conduct correspondence in disputes.

Requirements
  • The candidate has a completed college education in relevant field, such as Law, Legal Administration or similar;
  • The candidate will have at least 3 years of experience within a municipal or government organization.
  • The candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a legal position.

Wishes
  • The candidate will have at least 3 years of experience drafting/reviewing legal agreements, including leases, leases, partnership agreements and purchase/sale agreements. (more heavily weighted)
  • The candidate will have experience providing legal advice on real estate and land matters.
  • The candidate will have experience in legal correspondence and land transactions.
  • The candidate will have experience with financial issues such as preparing budgets or performing investment analysis.
  • The candidate will have experience advising budget managers and contributing to financial statement processes.

The candidate has the following competencies. This can be tested in a personal interview, preferably with examples (STAR methodology):
-Analytical Ability: Can separate main and secondary issues in complex legal and financial   
 files.
