Role description and task arrangements

Assignment Description

In 2020, a comprehensive process analysis was conducted within the social domain. Based on this analysis, several recommendations were made at the time, some of which are no longer applicable due to the use of a new application and some of which have since been implemented. Nevertheless, bottlenecks remain that necessitate a more efficient design of the processes at Social Affairs.

We are looking for an experienced process consultant to temporarily join our Support Social team. As process consultant you will be responsible for evaluating and optimizing our processes. You will research how other municipalities have structured their processes and apply this knowledge in collaboration with our team leaders and team members.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and optimize processes within Social Affairs (work, income, integration and debt assistance).

- Move administrative tasks from consultants to the back office.

- Set up and utilize used systems more efficiently.

- Work with team leaders and team members to develop recommendations for improvement.

 

Intended results:

 
  • Implementation efficient working method

    • The candidate achieves full implementation of a more efficient way of working within Social Affairs.

    • This includes updated process descriptions and associated work descriptions for work, income, integration and debt assistance.

  • Reporting task shifts and returns

    • The candidate prepares reports on the shift of administrative tasks from consultants to the back office.

    • The reports include insight into the results achieved, bottlenecks and recommendations for assurance within the organization.
