Role program advisor Youth
As program advisor you work in a team with other program advisors and program directors, (tactical) policy staff, and of course with all other colleagues and partners needed to achieve our goals. A program advisor is knowledgeable about content, knows how to look across borders, works data-driven, establishes contacts and connections, knows how to bring the "outside world" inside, is curious and dares to experiment and works well together.
The broad youth policy: what do we want to achieve? To what goals do you contribute?
We work to create an environment in which there are sufficient development opportunities for young people. The municipality therefore invests in sufficient freely accessible basic facilities aimed at activation and prevention. Where necessary, there is appropriate support and care for parents and young people in (temporarily) vulnerable positions. Everything is aimed at young people growing up in a stimulating, healthy, safe and family-oriented environment. Hereby we have an eye for regional (OZJT-Samen14) and national developments (Reform Agenda) and the financial context in which we have to work. To achieve this you work both internally and externally together and you are the representative of the municipality of Twenterand locally and in the Twente cooperation in the field of youth (aid).
What will you do?
The Policy Social team consists of various professionals, including program consultants and policy advisors in the areas of health, Wmo, Community Development, education and social affairs. We also have highly experienced contract managers and legal advisors who contribute to the versatility and expertise within our team. We coordinate social tasks with our process directors to ensure agility when the task demands it, maximum effect and smart organization on implementation.
