What will you do?

As Program Advisor Social Domain you are a key figure within the social policy of the municipality of Twenterand. You will deal with participation policy, social support and the connection with adjacent domains such as Wmo and Education.

✔ Directing the achievement of objectives within work, participation and social support.
✔ Providing strategic advice on developments within the social domain and the translation of laws and regulations into local policy.
✔ Initiating and directing projects, from content to planning and follow-up process.
✔ Connecting disciplines and stakeholders, both within the municipality and regionally.
✔ Monitor finances, link to content and accountability.
✔ Support the alderman and other administrators on complex and political issues.
✔ Collaborate with organizations in the front field (welfare, care, voluntary organizations) and care providers.
✔ Flexible deployment on related issues, such as recently the living allowance scheme for Ukrainians.

You will work within team Policy Social, together with experienced program advisors, policy advisors, contract managers and legal experts. Together we are committed to social issues and work agile to make an impact.

Results to be achieved

- Current overview of Work & Income (by May 31, 2025).
- Plan of approach required policy capacity social domain (by June 30, 2025)
- Function as point of contact and participant in regional consultations (ongoing).
- Administrative advising alderman with concrete substantive advice and preparation for decision-making (ongoing).

Other information

The assignment will be carried out within the Policy Social team, consisting of policy advisors, program advisors, lawyers and contract managers. The policy assignments within this domain require temporary strategic reinforcement, where independence, experience and administrative sensitivity are essential.
