Role description and task arrangements
What you will do
You will be deployed around IZB privacy issues, putting the processing registry in order, supporting with DPIAs and with regular tasks of the PO.As Privacy Officer (PO) you will advise, together with your team, on strategic, organizational and the human side of privacy. You make your contribution to protecting data and monitor and improve the processes that make this possible.
In addition, you translate SamenTwente's privacy policy into practical guidelines and in doing so, you think mainly in terms of workable solutions. You actively monitor compliance and enforcement of applicable laws and regulations in regular processes and projects. Any deviations will be signaled and analyzed by you.
You confidently handle any risks and proactively come up with improvement proposals. You take responsibility, are flexible, accurate, analytical and decisive.
You are able to separate main and secondary issues well and also view them in connection with other organizational factors. You communicate clearly and clearly and can adapt to your interlocutor.
Provide colleagues with the right information through awareness campaigns so that privacy can be optimally secured in new and existing processes.
We work together with chain partners such as the GGD umbrella organization GGD GHOR and with the Twente municipalities. This cooperation exists for example in the field of information security, but also around implementation of new legislation such as the Open Government Act (WOO), Baseline Information Security Government, the AVG and NEN7510.
We also collaborate with organizational units that require other certifications on content such as HKZ, ISO9001 and NEN7510. This is a complex but at the same time challenging environment where you can contribute your knowledge, but also gain knowledge.
What do you bring
- HBO/WO education, preferably in the field of information security, Dutch Law, Privacy Law, Media and Information Law.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience As a Privacy Officer / Privacy Compliance Advisor, in a larger organization.
- Broad knowledge of privacy, handling of personal data and its security.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise of relevant laws and regulations, especially focused on Privacy (AVG).
- It is a plus if you hold CIPP/E or CIPM certifications.
