In the role of Epic Owner, you play a key role in the realization of strategic propositions within the theme Better Use Net Small Consumption (BBN KV). This new strategic theme focuses on innovative flex solutions at the small consumption level, so that we can use the electricity grid smarter and more efficiently.
Within the network operators we are working more and more intensively together on the challenges of energy transition. As Epic Owner, you connect central and decentralized parties, translate your vision into implementation, and contribute to sector-wide innovation.
About our partnership and your assignment
Within the strategic theme Better Utilization Grid Small Consumption , the joint grid operators are working together to optimize the use of the electricity grid and keep the energy transition manageable.
The theme is in the start-up phase and focuses on developing and implementing smart solutions that contribute to a better utilized grid. These include flex measures, standardization and cooperation with parties such as EDSN.
Your assignment as Epic Owner Better Use Net Small Consumption
As Epic Owner, you are responsible for the realization and implementation of Epics within the BBN KV theme. You will work closely with product managers, theme teams and stakeholders both inside and outside the network operators.

- Translate strategic propositions into Epics and Enablers.
- Coordinate realization and implementation, both centrally (e.g. EDSN) and decentrally (at network operators).
- Collaborate with product managers to develop Epics into concrete features.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.
- Contribute to the development of innovative flex solutions.
Who are you?
A solid and connecting professional who is available with passion to contribute to the strategy BBN KV.
You possess:
- A completed college or university education
- Minimum of 3, preferably more than 5 years of demonstrated experience as an Epic Owner or similar role.
- Experience with agile working and change management.
- Pre: experience in the energy market, preferably specifically with at least 1 of the grid operators
- Strategic insight and a pragmatic, results-oriented approach.
- A solution-oriented mindset and you are able to translate vision into execution.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Maximum hourly rate €100-105
