Form the indispensable link in the energy market

Work full of energy

Team Fundamentum Our team consists of 7 ambitious professionals. We build and manage the central self-service platform for data analytics at EDSN. The platform runs on AWS and uses Snowflake for storage and analytics, and Tableau for dashboards and reports. Data entry is done via Kafka MSK, HVR, or File Gateway/S3. We use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and user management, and integrate with central IAM applications. We also create dashboards for platform usage (e.g., vulnerabilities and costs).

Our next steps are:

  • Setting up orchestration with Airflow
  • Data transformation with dbt
  • CI/CD and deployment pipelines
  • Setting up a data store and data catalog

We still have some technology choices to make, but prefer open source or AWS-native solutions.

The data platform is used by both internal DataOps teams, as well as grid users.

This is what you will do

As a senior cloud data engineer, you not only bring the technical knowledge and experience to build a rock-solid and modern data platform, but you also have the ability to explain complex issues simply and bring people along with your vision. You can easily speak to stakeholders at various levels of technical knowledge, as well as coach and challenge the team. You feel accountable for the value and quality delivered.

  • You form the bridge between architect, product owner, developers, and DataOps, and are the first point of contact for technical questions
  • You dare to take the lead, express your opinion solicited and unsolicited, and cut corners
  • You will support the team on technical issues, ensuring that quality is delivered
  • You play an active role in the refinement of features and stories, ask sharp questions, and help ensure that the work is clear and valuable
  • You think proactively about improvements, new solutions and new technology
  • And, of course, you'll be building plenty of your own data platform

Driven to make an impact

This will energize you

As a Cloud data engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing and maintaining our advanced data ecosystem. With a focus on building a reliable, scalable and high-performing data infrastructure, you will help us create a robust data platform. This platform is the foundation for processing, analyzing and delivering key energy data.

This further takes you away!
