Work on a future-proof energy system
As Functional Administrator you will work with your scrum team to manage, support and optimize the services offered by EDSN. With a keen and skilled eye, you will monitor the continuity, reliability, quality and security of these services. You foresee what applications might need in the future and respond to this in a timely manner. This way you keep our customers more than satisfied.
Together with your fellow functional administrators, you take on assignments within ART A&R. By working together, we can retain knowledge and reduce risks. When we share our expertise and experiences, we ensure that crucial information is not lost. Structured documentation of this information is key. Moreover, collaboration helps to gain a broader perspective on problems and solutions, leading to better decision-making and higher quality of our services.
In addition to working in your team, we believe it is important that you continue to share and gain knowledge from peers within EDSN. This is why we work with Community of Practices where Functional Administrators from all teams meet regularly to discuss new developments, share knowledge and continuously see how things can be improved within EDSN. This way we keep improving!
You will work in team Bamboo which works with three other teams on the application C-ARM (Central Allocation Reconciliation and Measurement Data).

This is what you will do:

• Monitors the continuity, reliability, quality and security of the systems by performing (or having performed) quality checks and maintenance.
• Liaises with ICT vendor on performance of services.
• Coordinates the collection of measurement data regarding the services, analyzes the results, identifies bottlenecks and makes improvement proposals.
• Are responsible for up to date user documentation.
• Supports users in the use of the services. Provides/organizes training and instruction as needed.
• Handles sensitive and/or complex customer failures and inquiries and provides solutions.
• Makes schedules and sets priorities.
• Discusses possible solutions with clients or colleagues or outside experts.
• Informs client of progress in a timely manner. Contributes to the development of reports on behalf of the client.
• Identifies and analyzes information needs, makes proposals to modify software and advises on prioritization.
• Defines and verifies acceptance/functionality criteria.
• Directs the realization of projects within Management and implements the new version of applications in consultation with users.
• Coordinates (acceptance) testing, creates test plans, performs functional testing and provides user testing support.

• No 9 to 5 mentality, you will rotate in standby and weekends
• You are results-oriented, proactive, assertive and possess persuasive and communication skills both verbally and in writing
• You are someone who absorbs new information quickly and is constantly looking for ways to expand and deepen your knowledge
• Bachelor/wo working and thinking level in the field of information management or similar
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role (we are not looking for a Technical Application Administrator)
• Proficient in IT Service Management and Scrum and/or DevOps
• Experience within the energy sector (specifically on market facilitation processes) is a plus
