Role description and task arrangements

Help build the future of the Dutch energy market

Assignment:
Flexible HR Project Assistant (12 hours, 3 days)

Start date: Aug. 17 | Duration: 1 year with option to extend | Maximum agency fee: 10%
Applications accepted until July 28 at 9:00 a.m. | Interviews: Aug. 3 |

In this role as an HR Project Associate, you will support the lead HR professional in carrying out tasks such as resource planning, onboarding new employees, community building, knowledge management, and other HR matters. You will provide oversight, structure, and support in a dynamic and innovative work environment. Within the grid operators, we are collaborating more and more, because we all face the same challenge. By working together, we’re joining forces to tackle the challenges of the energy transition.

As part of the ongoing professionalization of the Program Management Organization (pRO), we are looking for a flexible, proactive HR Project Assistant.

About our partnership

Since 2020, pRO has been a virtual network organization in which the eight Dutch network operators collaborate on digitization, standardization, and sector innovation within the Customer & Market domain. As a strategic collaboration platform, pRO supports the energy transition by designing and implementing market processes related to energy data. Within this hybrid partnership, you will work on strengthening HR policy and culture.

Your Role as an HR Project Assistant

As an HR Project Assistant, you’ll be part of our small HR team. You’ll participate in the PI cycle, as we work using agile methods within pRO. You’ll also play a key role in organizing the biannual staff event, working closely with the communications team. This is an atypical HR role because we do not have our own staff within the pRO, and external recruitment is largely handled by Staffing. The focus is primarily on coordinating and carrying out administrative processes and reporting.

You will report directly to the HR lead.

Your assignment

As an HR Project Assistant, you are a key member of the HR team. You bring structure and continuity to administrative processes and tasks, and provide support in the following areas:

  • Streamlining onboarding and offboarding processes;
  • Optimizing HR tasks in SharePoint and digital HR archiving, strategic resource planning, and creating reports and summaries in Excel and Power BI;
  • Provide project-based support for the Knowledge Management capability, including for training modules such as arranging venues and sending out invitations.
  • Project-based support for the Community Building capability, including activities to promote collaboration within the pRO
  • Project-based support for recruitment activities, such as drafting job postings and interviewing candidates.

Who are you?

You are an experienced HR project assistant who can work accurately and in a structured manner, but who also thrives on having to improvise at the last minute.

You work proactively, you have a fast work pace, you are results-oriented, and you feel at home in a dynamic environment.

In addition, you bring:

  • At least 7 years of experience in HR administration (preferred);
  • Completed higher professional education (required);
  • At least 5 years of experience with administrative processes (required);
  • Experience with knowledge management and cultural change is a plus;
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language (required);
  • Extensive expertise in MS Office, particularly in Excel, SharePoint, and Teams;
  • Experience with Power BI.

What do we offer you?

  • A fun assignment of 12 hours per week, spread over at least 3 days, and willing to work on-site for 2 days;
  • Duration: 1 year, with the option to extend;
  • Hybrid working environment in the heart of the energy sector in Amersfoort.
