Team Business Integration
Within the CIO Office, various disciplines are responsible for analyzing and translating business needs into (future) products and services.
As a Business Integration Specialist, you are a specialist in the field of information exchange at various levels of abstraction; from interpreting conceptual models, specifying information models based on requirements to the creation of interfaces. With this we guarantee the integrality of information exchange for the energy market and network operators. You are expected to be eager to learn, work independently and proactively seek collaboration with stakeholders inside and outside EDSN (including business analysts, architects and DevOps teams).

The Business Integration Specialist at EDSN has a diverse range of duties and a large stakeholder base. It is a challenging position in which you continue to learn!
At the core, as an Information Architect, your responsibilities include:
Analyze and track market developments in (international) messaging standards and techniques;
Analyzing information exchange and business needs in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
Specifying information models in UML based on requirements, international standards (UMM) and (reference) models (iecCIM);
Establishing interfaces (REST, AVRO, SOAP) using tooling developed within EDSN;
Preparation of message definitions (functional and technical documentation).
You take this further
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with data modeling, UML and Web API Services (RESTful- and SOAP); preference for more than 10 years of experience
At least 5 years of experience with standards such as JSON, XML, WSDLs, XSDs; preference for more than 10 years of experience
Knowledge of (international) messaging standards such as UN/CEFACT and CIM, or able to acquire this knowledge;
Knowledge of and experience with SOA architecture principles;
Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect is a plus;
Experience with Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework is a plus;
Proficient in the Dutch language
