Would you like to help build IT teams that directly contribute to the Netherlands’ energy transition?
At EDSN, you’ll be working at the very heart of the energy market’s IT sector. You’ll ensure that our engineering teams continue to grow by consistently attracting the right Java and cloud specialists. Not as a recruiter, but as a subject-matter sourcing expert with full ownership of the entire sourcing process.

The role (good to know)
This is not a recruiter role.
You won’t be conducting interviews with business or hiring managers, but you will challenge recruiters to conduct a thorough initial assessment.

You are fully responsible for sourcing:
  • Direct sourcing
  • Sourcing automation
  • Talent Pooling
  • Channel and search strategy
Recruitment handles the interviews and the process; you ensure a steady influx of high-quality candidates.


What you will do
  • Proactive sourcing of Dutch-speaking Java/Kotlin developers (mid-level/senior)
  • Building and maintaining strong IT talent pools at Recruitee
  • Implementing, optimizing, and scaling sourcing automation tools (AI)
  • Developing and improving searches, channels, and messaging
  • Screen and qualify candidates for referral to the recruitment team
  • Experimenting with new sourcing approaches, tools, and data
  • Identifying trends in the IT job market and translating them into concrete actions

  • Java / Kotlin Engineers (primary)
  • Cloud Engineers
  • Other IT roles (including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Testers, and Business Analysts)

  • In-depth knowledge of the IT job market (Java & Cloud) (required)
  • Proven experience with sourcing automation and AI tools (required)
  • Experience with talent pooling and sourcing outside of LinkedIn (required)
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools (preferred)
  • Experience with Recruitee is a strong advantage
  • *Added on March 19, 2026: A strong interest in workplace communication and recruitment marketing is a major plus
  • Curious, creative, and results-oriented
  • You'll find candidates using search tricks that others have never even heard of
  • The candidate is available immediately, or by April 6 at the latest.
