As Lead Corporate Control & Finance, you will provide direction for the financial backbone of the energy transition

In your role, you will be responsible for the optimal functioning of the Corporate Control & Finance team. You will coordinate day-to-day operations, encourage professional growth and ensure a positive work environment in which people thrive.

You are the first point of contact for the team and ensure effective task allocation, process optimization and compliance. You direct the Planning & Control cycle, financial statements, annual report and CSRD. In addition, you give direction to the further development of Financial Control and Accounting.

• Lead a team with specialties in accounting, control, taxation, treasury and insurance
• Building a future-proof Finance department
• Improving processes, systems and collaboration within and outside the team
• Conducting development interviews and encouraging professional growth
• Ensuring compliance and quality in financial processes
• Engaging with diverse stakeholders in a complex playing field
• Combining strategic insight with hands-on leadership

You bring

• Minimum HBO+/WO working and thinking level in a financial or economic direction
• Preferably supplemented with RC or RA training
• At least 10 years of relevant experience within Finance & Control
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational development experience
• Strong analytical skills and a critical, reflective attitude
• Proactive, results-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills
• Experience within the energy market, preferably with at least 1 of the grid operators
• Experience in delivering financial statements and audits
