Work on a safe and responsible data flow 

As a DevOpser within the value stream Measurement Data Chain, you will collaborate on the maintenance and modernization of a service concerning the registration and processing of measurement data.

You will work as a team member to maintain the applications within our service and be responsible for keeping the application running with the rest of the Agile team.

We manage a large number of micro-services with associated large number of projects in Gitlab. After migrating to a centrally maintained Gitlab pipeline platform, we are now also starting to migrate our service from self-managed infra to centrally managed infra. For both, there will be the necessary work in the area of "application ops," or area between infra management and application development that we need help with. After the migration, we expect a shift to more development work (Java).
 

What does a DevOpser do at EDSN?

• You will develop in Java new valuable, customer-centric, secure software in close collaboration with business team members;
• You manage services in an efficient and customer-oriented manner;
• You document, test and ensure acceptance of the solutions you build;
• Together with the team, you are constantly looking to improve processes, methods, technology, services, etc;
• You follow relevant new developments in the field and with the team exploit opportunities that arise such as (test) automation, CI/CD etc.

To fully understand the volume and diversity of work, you have an HBO working and thinking level. In addition, you have knowledge of GitLab CI/CD, Java, Helm, Spring Boot, Kubernetes (Openshift), PostgreSQL and Kafka. Knowledge of public cloud environments is a plus. Experience in the energy sector is nice to have. 

You have a minimum of three years of work experience in an Agile team where you held the role of developer. In addition, you are proactive, service-oriented, customer-focused and with integrity.
