Work at the intersection of cloud platforms, security, and the energy transition
Work full of energy
The energy transition requires a robust digital foundation. As part of Team Atlas, you’ll help build the AWS platform on which critical energy data is processed securely, reliably, and scalably. You’ll tackle complex challenges related to landing zones, networking, security, resilience, and platform standardization.
You’ll have the opportunity not only to build technology but also to help shape the platform’s technical direction. You’ll collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to help EDSN further advance its platform maturity. Your expertise makes the difference between a functional cloud environment and a platform that hundreds of developers can rely on with confidence.
This is what you will do
• Design, build, and further develop EDSN’s AWS platform.
• Implement secure and scalable landing zones according to security-by-design principles.
• Set up and improve network architectures, IAM structures, and security controls.
• Automating infrastructure with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Advising DevOps teams on the optimal use of the platform.
• Enhancing the resilience, availability, and security of the cloud landscape.
• Contributing to monitoring, alerting, and compliance issues.
• Serving as a technical expert and sounding board for architects and engineers.
Collaboration and knowledge sharing
This is what energizes you
You’ll find it energizing to solve complex cloud and security challenges that have a direct impact on the Dutch energy market.
You enjoy:
• Translate technical vision into concrete solutions.
• Establish platform standards that other teams can successfully build upon.
• Share in-depth AWS knowledge with colleagues and help teams move forward.
• Systematically improve security, reliability, and automation.
• Stand in front of a whiteboard and make complex topics easy to understand.
• Continuously raise the technical bar for yourself and your team.
This further takes you
• At least 5 years of experience with AWS in complex enterprise environments.
• Demonstrable experience with enterprise networking architecture.

• A proactive, independent, and analytical work ethic.
• Knowledge of Linux and container platforms such as Kubernetes is a plus.
