The Program Management Organization (pRO) is seeking an All-RoundPortfolioOfficerto help guide the strategic management of projects, programs, and investments within the Customer & Market domain.

About our partnership
Since 2020, pRO has been a virtual network organization in which the eight Dutch grid operators work together on digitization, standardization and sector renewal within the Customer & Market domain. As a strategic platform, pRO supports the energy transition by shaping and implementing market processes around energy data. Within this hybrid partnership you will work on strengthening portfolio-oriented working.

Your role as Portfolio Officer
AsaPortfolioOfficer, you will assist the pRO in organizing, streamlining, and improving portfolio processes.
In this role, you will have an operational and supportive role with limited decision-making authority, working under the guidance of more experienced portfolio managers.
You combine portfolio support with general PMO responsibilities, thereby making a significant contribution to ensuring clarity, consistency, and reliable management information.

What will you do?
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Portfolio & Management
  • Maintaining and updating portfolio overviews
  • Help develop and implement portfolio processes
  • Develop work instructions for production
  • Contribute to dashboards and reports (e.g., in Power BI)
  • Identifying dependencies, bottlenecks, and areas of concern
  • PMO & Organization
  • Create and maintain an event calendar
  • Preparing, organizing, and documenting meetings and decision-making
  • Creating and maintaining schedules and to-do lists
  • Tracking appointments, tasks, and deadlines
  • Contribute to improving and standardizing work processes
  • Preparing presentations, memos, and management reports
You serve as the link between content, organization, and implementation.

Who are you?
You are a structured and analytical professional who is comfortable in a support and organizational role within a complex stakeholder environment.
You are a doer and you not only facilitate, but you actively contribute to process improvement and implementation.
You work meticulously, maintain a clear overview, have strong communication skills, aren’t afraid to ask questions, and, last but not least, have a strong sense of organization.
You also have
  • A completed associate's degree program
  • At least 5 years of experience in project and portfolio support (e.g., PMO, project support specialist, junior consultant, or similar)
  • Familiarity with portfolio management
  • Experience with agile working and change initiatives
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with Teams, SharePoint, Jira, or Power BI is a plus
  • Good command of the Dutch language
