We are looking for a driven Product Owner to temporarily fill in for someone. As a Product Owner at EDSN you will have a diverse range of tasks. You are concerned with maximizing the business value of a product. You will be expected to act independently and with a broad scope. At EDSN we have for some time been embracing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) way of working and we work in Agile Release trains.
This is what you will do
- You actively collaborate with product managers and architects in defining, analyzing, refining, estimating and prioritizing the business and enabler features
- You define the product vision and strategy, taking into account market and stakeholder needs
- You work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and prioritize product requirements
- You set clear and achievable goals and ensure the execution of product development projects
- You manage and optimize the product backlog and ensure continuous improvement
- You will work with development teams to ensure that product development meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency
- You communicate regularly with stakeholders and provide transparent reporting on product progress and performance

You are an independent working Product Owner where 'product thinking' and Agile thinking are fully embedded. You know what it is like to work on 'value creation' in a SAFe environment. You know what it is like to weigh interests and set priorities. You manage stakeholders proactively and don't wait for others to tell you what to do OR decide; you do it yourself and with confidence. Your approach is enthusiastic and effective. In addition, you are stress resistant, quality oriented and good at networking.
This further takes you
- Hbo/wo working and thinking level
- You are proficient in both the Dutch and English languages
- You have experience in project management.
- You have the necessary certifications in the field of Scrum (at least PSPO I and II) supplemented by knowledge and experience in the field of LEAN and Agile, among others. You are also certified in SAFe (preferably POPM and SA)
- Pre: experience in the energy sector and/or semi-government
- You have at least 2 years of work experience as a product owner of a DevOps team
- You have at least 5 years of work experience at the intersection of Business and IT
- In-depth knowledge of product development and agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with an Agile way of working
