Role description and task arrangements

Hello interim Epic Owner GV & KV measurement errors! Would you like to work at the heart of the energy transition?
32 hours | Amersfoort / Hybrid | Energy market | m/f/x | Start date Jan. 12, 2026 | Duration 11 months

Offers can be submitted until December 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. | Freelancer/secondment | Competitive rate

Would you like to play a key role in reducing grid losses and thereby directly contribute to controlling social costs? We are looking for an Epic Owner who can prevent measurement errors, provide direction, stimulate collaboration between data and business teams, and create insight for targeted action.

About our partnership
Within the strategic theme of reducing societal costs , the joint network operators are working together to keep the societal costs of the energy transition manageable. Network loss is an important area of focus in this regard.

Based on data-driven insights, we focus on preventing transport, network consumption, and unpaid consumption, and we work on improvements that have an impact on the energy chain. In doing so, having accurate, timely, and complete measurement data is a prerequisite for effective and efficient customer, process, and financial processing. We see room and a need for improvement.

Your role as Epic Owner
As Epic Owner Net Loss, you are responsible for realizing epics aimed at preventing measurement errors in supply and consumption. You will create quantitative and qualitative insights, strengthen mutual cooperation, gather best practices, translate insights with team members into initiatives that ensure the "tap closed" principle, and know how to organize support in a complex playing field. Think of initiatives aimed at cooperation with measurement companies, register comparison, process and IT changes, or code changes. The initial focus is on large-scale consumption measurement data, but once the approach, working method, and team are in place, your focus will shift to the small-scale consumption segment and "root errors."

Your responsibilities in a row:
  • Creating qualitative and quantitative insight
  • Translating insights into concrete improvement proposals for Strategic Business Owners, Regional Network Operators, Metering Companies, and other market parties
  • Build support for the improvement proposals through, for example, intensive close cooperation and co-creation.
  • Designing and developing a business team Preventing measurement errors
Who are you?
A strong and engaging professional with a passion for content, process, data, and a drive to make a social impact. In addition, you have:
  • A completed college or university education
  • At least 5 years of demonstrable experience as an Epic Owner or similar role
  • Demonstrable experience with measurement data at a measurement company, regional network operator, or energy supplier
  • Experience with agile working and change management
  • Affinity with process modeling and data analysis
  • Strategic insight and a pragmatic, results-oriented approach
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
