At EDSN, you’ll contribute to making the Netherlands more sustainable. Together with our partners in the energy sector, you’ll ensure robust systems, a modern workplace, and smart tools. The multi-client nature of our work makes this a challenging architectural problem.
As a System Architect for Business Support & Digital Workspace, you’ll define the architectural vision for our organization’s digital foundation. You’ll integrate workspace configurations, HR and finance applications, user management, cloud services, and software from Atlassian and Microsoft into a manageable and future-proof whole.
Within Modern Workplace, you’ll collaborate with HR, Finance, Risk, engineering leadership, IT specialists, and Procurement. You’ll translate business needs into architectural solutions, create clarity in the application and tooling portfolio, and make informed decisions regarding SaaS solutions and integrations.

You will develop the architectural vision for business support tools and the digital workplace.
- Coherence and Simplification
You reduce complexity and integrate systems, data, and work processes.
- Collaborating with Stakeholders
You coordinate solutions with Engineering, HR, and Finance within an environment characterized by multiple clients and BizDevOps.
- Costs and Quality
You oversee contracts and lifecycle management with a focus on ease of use.
Who are you
You are an experienced architect who brings clarity to complex ecosystems, communicates clearly, and inspires others to work toward a shared goal.You have experience with a broad portfolio of tools for HR, Finance, and (AI-)productivity, as well as with Microsoft 365, Atlassian, other SaaS solutions, software lifecycle management, and integrations.
