32 - 40 hours | Amersfoort / Hybrid | Energy market | Start date as soon as possible | Duration of assignment 6 months
Please note: offers can be made until Tuesday, June 10 at 12:00.
At EDSN you contribute to the sustainability of the Netherlands. Every day. Together with our partners in the energy sector. With your digital skills and power to connect, you are the indispensable link between technology and energySo you play a crucial role in the progress of our organization and thus the sector. We have big ambitions and that is why we are looking for you!
Work full of energy
As a System Architect at EDSN, you will have a broad and varied range of duties. You are engaged in developing and managing our architecture at the value stream level. Together with other stakeholders you contribute to the development and improvement of the energy market.
Each value stream has a number of teams where development takes place. Java 17 and AWS are used here. Increasing use is also made of microservices, Kotlin and the Cloud platform of EDSN where generically used functionalities are housed (e.g. observability and Identity & Access Management).
This is what you will do
You will be involved in developing and managing our architecture at the value stream level.
You outline the required solution direction at the value stream level (architecture vision) and ensure business agility and speed to realization (time to market).
You develop agile solutions for our architecture. You outline the architecture and the "architectural runway", looking three to twelve months ahead. In doing so, you work closely with the Product Manager and Product Owner(s), mapping dependencies with enablers and other value streams and making sure they are/are aligned.
You collaborate in a large and broad field of stakeholders, both internal and external. These include fellow System Architects, Enterprise Architects, Project Managers and Project Supporters.
This is what energizes you
You get energy from developing, designing and managing architecture in an inspiring environment. In doing so, you think along with the business and help shape the vision of the value stream and the required solution direction. You enjoy building the architecture of the value stream and modeling the architecture in Archimate according to the EDSN Archimate metamodel. You enjoy dealing with technical issues such as microservices, event driven architecture, data intensive solutions and complex distributed systems. In addition, you enjoy working intensively with other teams.
You take this further
Responsibility: to work with the Product Manager and Release Train engineer to be responsible for the delivery of the value stream.
Content knowledge of microservices, event driven architecture, high performance and data intensive systems, distributed systems and experience developing software and bringing and keeping complex systems into production and CI/CD.
Experience and knowledge of new technology development based on AWS Cloud.
Experience to be able to be the lynchpin between platform teams and the value stream. So that with your knowledge you can realize the planning and realization of enablers. As well as being able to resolve any obstacles between architecture development and implementation in the teams.
A results-driven work mentality to get the target architecture working in the teams.
