Work full of energy
At EDSN, you will work as a tester in a composite scrum team. The existing functionalities from the CAR (Central Connections Register) will be redesigned and implemented in a microservices architecture. The infrastructure, which is based on Kubernetes and runs within AWS, is completely new to EDSN. You will join one of the three teams working on this modernization process. On Mondays we work together at the office in Amersfoort, this is a mandatory team day, a 2nd day on location is optional.

This is what you're going to do
• As part of the scrum team, you will be involved in developing, setting up and maintaining test automation, chain/integration testing and test data management
• During refinement, assesses the test base and specifications, data model, processes involved, and security aspects
• Preparation of test design
• Executes test scripts in the agreed manner. Recording the results of the executed test scripts
• Is responsible for the development and maintenance of knowledge in the field of testing and of test designs and methods in this field
• Thinks along about the approach of test analysis and test execution
• Active role in integrating tests into the CI/CD pipeline
• Possesses enough seniority to share knowledge with other team members and take them to the next level
• Supports and advises on the design of the test strategy

You are an independent colleague who understands the profession of software testing well. But at the same time, you also enjoy working in a team. You have a lot of experience with test automation, API testing, Java (programming) and the Agile / DevOps mindset is in your blood. You preferably have knowledge of Serenity (or similar tools), performance testing and have worked in a SAFe environment. Also think of BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) and TDD (Test Driven Development).

• At least HBO working and thinking level direction: IT supplemented with relevant certificates
• > 5 years of testing experience in a complex environment
• > 2 years of experience integrating CI/CD pipeline & test automation
• > 3 years of knowledge of advanced test methods and techniques, e.g. TMAP/ ISTQB and Agile Tester
• > 1 year of experience coaching team members
• > 3 years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum/DevOps environment
• > 1 year of experience with BDD/TDD • Pre: Experience with Serenity / Cucumber
• Pre: Knowledge of the energy market processes
• Pre: Experience performance testing
