Work full of energy
GOPACS, the congestion management platform for the energy sector, is looking for an experienced UX Designer with a passion for interaction and visual design. As the person ultimately responsible for our design system, you will ensure consistency and structure: on the platform, on the website, offline. You will work together with a UX Lead, UX Researcher and developers. You will have all the freedom to make your mark on a socially relevant platform. GOPACS is a scale-up, with a young UX maturity. You are strong enough to defend the interests of our users.

This is what you will do

• Work with the UX Lead and UX Researcher to create new user journeys and improve existing ones.
• Independently and proactively research, design and implement new components, visuals and interactions from the design system in Figma.
• Work intensively with (front-end) developers for flawless transfer and implementation of designs.
• Continuously monitor visual and interactive consistency and structure, both within the platform and website and between these channels.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives and demos.
• Identify improvement opportunities in UX/UI and translate them into concrete design modifications.
• Document and maintain design choices, components and guidelines so that the design system is always current.

This further takes you

• MBO, preferably HBO (design, art, multimedia)
• An accessible (online) portfolio containing (recent) work, plus explanations of associated process.
• At least 5 years of experience as a digital (UX/UI) designer
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Figma or Sketch.
• Minimum 1 year experience with design tokens.
• A good understanding of front-end code (html, css, js) and frameworks (React, Angular).
• Good ability to rationally substantiate design choices, even in the face of strong resistance from stakeholders.
• Pre: experience with no-code front-end platforms (such as Webflow, Framer).
• Pre: experience with digital asset management (such as Frontify, Bynder, Adobe, Brandfolder).
• Pre: experience with dev documentation (such as Storybook, Fractal, Pattern Lab).
• Pre: experience within (B2B) SaaS organization(s).
