As an all-round project and communications officer, you are the link in the implementation of the heat transition in Aa en Hunze.
You play a central role in the municipal heating program, with a strong focus on the activities within Nij Begun's insulation approach. You ensure that projects are well organized, implemented, and visible to our residents.
What will you do?

Imagine: a neighborhood where residents engage in conversation about insulation and sustainability. You made that conversation possible. From project planning to information evenings, and from invitations to monitoring the results. As an all-round project and communications officer, you are the link in the implementation of the heat transition in Aa en Hunze.
You play a central role in the municipal heating program, with a strong focus on the activities within Nij Begun's insulation approach. You ensure that projects are well organized, implemented, and visible to our residents.
What will you do?
- Contributing ideas to the programming, organization, and implementation of Nij Begun activities, such as neighborhood campaigns and information evenings.
- Consulting with municipalities and partners, including insulation support providers and partners in the social domain.
- Administrative tasks, such as monitoring project results and goals.
- Creating and posting communications via social media, website, letters, and local newspapers.
- Giving presentations during information meetings, for example.
- You are sociable and easily establish contact with residents, colleagues, and partners.
- You reach residents in a creative and understandable way.
- You are practical: a doer who likes to turn plans into action.
- You take initiative, but also know when to involve others.
- You have an affinity with sustainability, energy transition, or social challenges.
- You will become part of the Sustainability cluster: an enthusiastic team in which you will work together with, among others, the Energy Transition Policy Officer and the Sustainability Communication and Participation Advisor.
- High flexibility: occasionally, you may work evenings or Saturdays, and you can take those hours off at other times.
