We are looking for a project leader who gets energy from building public space. Someone who effortlessly switches between technology, users, plans and political-administrative sensitivity. As Construction Project Leader, you will work on a variety of projects: from the renovation of a multifunctional accommodation to the development of a new sports hall or school. You will work in an environment where independence, ownership and cooperation are key.
What will you do?
You are responsible for supervising and directing maintenance, remodeling and new construction projects. You are the connecting link between internal colleagues, users, designers, consultants and contractors. You:
  • Advises internal and external stakeholders;
  • Keeps the multi-year maintenance budget up to date;
  • Reviews designs, specifications and contract documents;
  • Monitors progress, quality, risks and finances;
  • (have) work descriptions, PoAs, estimates and risk analyses prepared;
  • Coordinates minor maintenance work;
  • Reports on progress, deviations and more/less work.
Who are we looking for?
A solid project manager who is both technically and organizationally skilled, but most importantly:
  • targeted, with a practical approach;
  • Communication strong, clear in consultation and decision making;
  • Able to prioritize and maintain an overview;
  • accustomed to working in a political-administrative context and aware of public responsibility to residents.
In addition, you possess:
  • A completed architectural college education;
  • Knowledge of UAV, RAW or STABU;
  • Experience in project-based work;
  • Preferably knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit;
  • affinity for infrastructure and green space.
