Department Controller
28-36 hours per week | Exloo

As a Departmental Controller , you are the sparring partner for management, policy advisors, and project leaders. You help our organization make well-informed choices by providing insight into the financial consequences of policy choices, developments, and investments.

What will you do?
  • You are responsible for financial controlling/advising within the department managers and budget managers.
  • You provide input for the budget and annual accounts.
  • You are responsible for compiling interim financial (group) reports.
  • You perform financial analyses, risk assessments, and prepare management information.
  • You advise on budget management and assist in drawing up business cases.
  • You follow trends and developments and translate them into financial impact.
  • You will work closely with fellow advisors, policy officers, and the management team.

What are you bringing us?
  • A higher professional education (HBO+) degree in finance.
  • Experience (3 to 5 years) in financial consulting at a (semi)governmental organization.
  • Experience with Pink is an advantage.
  • You can translate complex information clearly into understandable advice.
  • You think strategically, work in a structured manner, and are not afraid to be critical.
  • You are collaborative and feel at home in an administrative environment.
