Role description and task arrangements

Issues:

Current information provision REAL-BORG
Research is needed into how information provision is currently arranged for Real and Borg. Here we are looking broader than just applications. We also look at other forms of digital support for the process and map out which tools and information sources are used in the process.

Quality
It is suspected that data quality is currently insufficient for the management and maintenance domain of public space. The need for data and the quality of this data are being identified.

Work processes
Work processes must be established to align the management and maintenance processes with the information provision.

Management organization
It should be mapped out how the management of the systems and data is organized (centrally in the organization and in the department) and how this actually takes place. It must be examined whether this matches the needs and perception of Real and Borg and the management of the basic registrations.
Roles and responsibilities are worked out for functional management, data management and data management. In addition, organizational boundary conditions are included.

Way of working
The above may result in the need for a different way of working. This will require education and training of employees. Work processes will also have to be set up differently.

What we are looking for:
A project leader who will first of all determine, together with the policymakers/specialists of the various assets, which data we want to own and manage. And how we are going to manage based on this data. But also to develop a dashboard. The project leader will also be asked to analyze our current systems based on this set of data. And which improvement projects, if any, should be started. The project leader is also asked to set up an organization to ensure that the data-driven work is (and remains) secured.

Project Manager Profile:
  • Project leadership experience in a municipal or spatial context.
  • affinity with public space management as well as with data analysis or information management.
  • analytically strong, communicatively proficient and knows how to bring people along for change.
  • Thinks in possibilities, but keeps an eye on feasibility and support.
