As BI Developer at Gemeente Coevorden, you ensure that data is transformed into valuable insights that contribute to policy-making, decision-making and innovation. You are the driving force behind the professionalization of our BI environment and take a leading role in projects such as the design of a new data warehouse.
Professionalize and innovate existing reports and dashboards.
Translate wants and needs into usable datasets that contribute to relevant and structural insights.
Design and build new reports and dashboards.
Lead in setting up data warehouse and optimizing ETL processes.
Experimenting with new developments such as algorithms, AI and prediction models.
Directing and thinking along in trajectories around data architecture.
Ensure accurate and high quality data for analysis and visualizations.
Experience working with large amounts of different types of data and developing relevant analytics and dashboards.
Experience with BI and analytics tools (experience with Qlik Sense is a plus).
Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL, and proficient in SQL and T-/PL-SQL.
Experience setting up APIs to unlock data from the cloud.
Knowledge of ETL processes and experience with SSIS and TimeXtender.
Experience with data warehouse modeling and metadata management.
Experience with data integration, technical architecture, SQL and DWH.
Willing to work with different languages, tools and techniques.
Knowledge of R and Python is a plus.
Experience with data mining, modeling and Machine Learning is a plus.
