Welcome to the dynamic Social Support (MO) team. Here you will find an exciting position with a mix of challenges and responsibilities. Within this team are the policy areas Wmo, Schuldhulp (Debt Assistance), Minima and Contract Management.

What will you do?
As Schuldhulpverlening (Debt Assistance) Counselor you offer residents of Coevorden support with financial problems. You are their permanent point of contact and guide them step by step towards financial stability and self-reliance.

Your duties include:
- Conducting intake and counseling interviews with residents with debt problems;
- Being responsible for your own caseload;
- Setting up and implementing debt assistance programs, such as stabilization, debt restructuring or budget management;
- Identifying underlying problems and working together with colleagues from the social domain;
- Maintaining contacts with creditors, administrators and other chain partners;
- Carefully registering and reporting in the client tracking system.

What do you bring
- A completed college education, preferably in the direction of SJD, Social Work, MWD, Management, Economics and Law or Law;
- Demonstrable experience within debt assistance or the broader social domain;
- Good knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as the Municipal Debt Assistance Act (Wgs);
- You are independent, committed, communicative and solution-oriented;
- Experience with systems such as Allegro or Civision is a plus.
