The team
Together with three colleagues you form the procurement cluster within the Advice and Finance team. This independent, decisive team consists of three procurement consultants and a procurement officer. The procurement team has a coordinating role in the procurement activities of the municipality and is the pivot within all procurement and tendering processes.

From your position you will independently supervise (European) procurement procedures of the municipal organization. You can think of drafting the procurement strategy and tender documents, coordinating the process and supervising the evaluation process. In this role, you will also be the first point of contact for the teams to which you are attached as a consultant.

In addition, you will work with your colleagues to further strengthen and professionalize the procurement function (including contract management). You also advise colleagues on (strategic) procurement issues and various procurement themes, such as Socially Responsible Contracting and Purchasing and local purchasing.
