Role description and task arrangements

Legal Quality Officer Social Domain (work & income/integration) 
Coevorden / 32 hours / ONLY DETACHMENT 

What will you do?
As Legal Quality Officer within the social domain you will identify new or amended legislation and regulations and translate these into policy, regulations and work processes. You provide input for policy developments and monitor the legal quality of implementation within Work, Income and Integration.

Your duties include:

- Identifying new and amended legislation and regulations and drafting or adapting regulations and policy rules;
- Providing input for policy developments and advising on legal issues;
- Drafting, implementing and testing work processes, formats and quality criteria;
- Carrying out random checks of caseloads and discussing findings with colleagues;
- Acting as a substantive sparring partner for client managers and supervisors on legal and policy-related questions;
- Participating in and maintaining local and regional consultations and networks;
- Coordinating with policy colleagues on the translation of policy to implementation;
- Implementing the Participation Act in Balance, including adapting regulations, writing college and council proposals and coordinating with implementation practice.

You are analytically strong, careful and know how to translate complex laws and regulations into practice in an understandable way. You have an eye for quality, think ahead and actively seek cooperation.

What we ask of you:
- Completed college or university education in Law or similar;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience within a municipality or implementing organization;
- Thorough knowledge of the Participation Act, Civic Integration Act and related regulations;
- Experience in drafting policy, regulations and legal review of cases;
- Experience within a municipal organization is a plus;
- Available for 32 hours per week, preferably physically present in Coevorden for at least three days.
