Role description and task arrangements

Job Description:

As a Junior Planning Economist, you will be responsible for the financial management and feasibility analysis of spatial development projects. You will work closely with various stakeholders to optimize the financial aspects of projects and ensure that projects stay within budget and are profitable.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial feasibility studies and risk analyses for spatial development projects.
  • Drafting and managing complex land and operating plans.
  • Advising on land policy, cost recovery and financial strategies.
  • Monitor financial progress of projects and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties, such as developers and investors.
  • Contribute to the development of financial models and reports.

Job Requirements:

  • Completed relevant college or university degree in Economics, Real Estate or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of land exploitation, cost recovery and financial models.
  • Analytical thinking skills and strong skills in financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey financial information clearly.
  • Experience with relevant software and tools is a plus.
