Living Environment Project Manager (IBL team).

Are you a driven project manager who enjoys maintaining and renewing the physical environment and everything that comes with it? Someone who enjoys working with colleagues from different disciplines on multiple projects simultaneously? Then read on because we would like to meet with you.

Description assignment
Your work
You lead various project groups in the physical environment with internal and/or external professionals. In addition, you deploy market parties and it is important that, by asking the right question, you can assess the offers and solutions for their effective contribution to the project result. To create involvement and support, an important part of your job consists of directing, organizing, communicating and coordinating. You are the point of contact for the various stakeholders. Both internally and externally, the provision of good information and gaining support is important. Internally to the clients of the various projects, professional colleagues and management and externally to stakeholders such as external consultants, residents and foundations.


Your work consists of a varied package of projects that play simultaneously, in different areas of expertise.
Some examples from practice:

 
  • Separately coordinate and direct 6 sub-projects with modification/replacement of approximately 26 playgrounds.
    • Project assignment and overall planning
    • Develop and implement communication and participation plan
    • Develop estimates, designs, planting plans, technical drawings
    • Develop and commission specifications
    • Provide final delivery and assurance of assets in the standing organization
    • Finalize by March 31, 2026, including implementation of related green tasks.
  • Project management of an implementation process, whereby tasks in the field of control and management of Japanese knotweed are transferred to the implementing organization of the municipality. As a result
    • A dynamic database, which can be used to generate maps for different phases.
    • A schematic representation of the annual process for management, control and aftercare of Japanese Knotweed in Deventer at the tactical level and any work process descriptions of sub-processes.
    • By 1-7-2025 a framework contract for control, control and aftercare of invasive exotics, which can be used by 2026.
  • Developproject management manual for playgrounds by April 1, 2026.
  • Develop (or have developed) management plans for various disciplines.
  • Establish and/or tighten internal processes/procedures.
Description candidate.
You are able to lead project teams with expertise from inside and outside the organization. In addition, you have demonstrable experience with participation projects and enjoy supervising interactive processes. Furthermore, you are organization-sensitive, have good judgment, show initiative and are result-oriented.

You visualize risks and know how to manage them. In addition, you have good oral and written skills and are analytically and numerically strong.Finally, you like innovation and quality is of paramount importance.

Your qualifications:
- Hbo working and thinking level.
- Mbo and Hbo education Land- Water- and Environmental Management.

- Affinity with invasive exotics and experience with non-chemical control methods.
- Experience in (having) developed project briefs, participation plans, specifications, designs and estimates.
- Knowledge and experience in outsourcing works and services.
- In recent career experience as project manager and as project leader for large and smaller projects in the physical environment.
- Able to communicate at different levels, with different specialists and stakeholders, without losing sight of the scope of the task.
