Would you like to support entrepreneurs in their business operations and contribute to a future-proof, sustainable local economy? As an Energy Account Manager, you will be the first point of contact for entrepreneurs and will work closely with internal and external partners on economic vitality, energy transition, and circular development. You will help companies move forward—both in their growth and in their sustainability efforts.
In this multifaceted role, you will focus on both business contacts and making the local business community more sustainable. Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying developments at companies and maintaining insight into what is happening within the local economy.
Informing colleagues about trends and developments in the business world and involving them where necessary.
Connecting questions and initiatives and acting as an intermediary between entrepreneurs and subject matter experts.
We are looking for an Energy Account Manager with higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking, who:
can effectively support companies in the energy transition
is a pleasant and knowledgeable sparring partner for colleagues and entrepreneurs
communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing
is environmentally aware and tactically skilled, and adapts easily to different levels
possesses self-confidence, empathy, and the ability to ask the right questions
works from a relationship management perspective and understands what entrepreneurs need
thinks in terms of opportunities and possibilities, with an entrepreneurial, proactive, and flexible attitude
enjoys tackling challenges and works in a results-oriented manner
Actively approaching companies based on the economic action plan.
Maintaining a sustainable network with entrepreneurs and business associations.
Developing an action plan for making businesses more sustainable, linked to municipal objectives for energy transition, circular economy, and climate adaptation.
Make a concrete contribution to realizing 150 hectares of solar panels on commercial roofs.
Supporting companies in energy saving, energy optimization, and CO₂ reduction.
