What will you do

• As a policy advisor for culture you support the director and the board in the development and operationalization of policy, in this case art and culture. You do not do this from behind your PC, but go out to work with citizens and partners in the municipality to think about what needs to be done and how this can best be done. The municipality's cultural ambitions are set out in the Cultuurnota....
• you direct (complex) processes in the area of policy development, operationalization and evaluation
• You are coordinator for the current and upcoming Culture Note.
• You follow social developments (national, regional and local) and use them to put policy issues on the political agenda
• You build and maintain relevant network contacts with cultural institutions (professionals and volunteers)

Who are you?
A driven and enthusiastic professional who knows how cultural institutions think and act
You have knowledge and expertise in the field of culture and can make the connection between culture and other policy areas
Preferably work experience as a policy advisor (culture)
Preferably familiar with network in the culture sector
Communicatively strong
There is a senior to be able to supervise

You find it interesting to work in a political-administrative environment
HBO/WO work and thinking level (may also come from work)

This includes working on a good investment climate, contacts with established businesses, the acquisition of new branches, and the sale of land. The policy areas of culture, recreation/tourism, events and the Labor Market Region are part of the team.
