For the team Klant Contact Centrum (team KVB) the municipality of Emmen is looking for a

  1. Call Center Clerk (Clerk Public).
What will you do?
Main activities in this position:
  • Ensure the telephone accessibility of the Emmen Municipality;
  • Answering questions, resolving problems and complaints from residents and businesses;
  • Providing information on products of the municipality and on the status of (requests).
You will perform the above work in the town hall.
 
What do we ask?
For this position, you need HBO working and thinking level. In addition, you are very digitally literate. The products of the municipality are constantly being developed digitally, so you are expected to be able to keep up with this development. Besides the right skills, attitude and behavior is very important and you must fit the vision of "KCC of the Future".
 
What skills do we consider important?
For this position, we believe the following skills are important:
  • Multitasking: You work with multiple systems on 2 screens at the same time while talking on the phone. At the same time, you make the customer feel like you are listening.
  • Empathy: You get all kinds of different people with different questions on the phone. You are able to quickly switch to the right tone and content.
  • Analytical ability: You must be able to get to the root of the question quickly and know where to look and roster discipline. You will be rostered and told 2 weeks in advance when you will work. Leave must therefore be requested in advance. This requires you to know how to conform well to this schedule. So you do not necessarily work the same days and hours every week. The schedule is leading for your tasks. You are willing to take over each other's shifts if necessary.
  • Typing: You must be able to type quickly (guideline; >250 apm) in correct Dutch. ( A Call Center test may be part of the selection process).
