What will you be doing?


About the Position
Are you a structured and proactive support professional with a keen understanding of both portfolio management and capacity management? Then we’re looking for you! You’ll help us further professionalize our portfolio management and capacity management within the organization, including the physical, social, and operational management teams.

  • You will support portfolio management within the physical domain.
  • You will develop and maintain processes and tools for portfolio management and capacity management.
  • Ensures compliance with established frameworks, guidelines, and agreements.
  • You will ensure that reports on capacity, staffing, and progress are up-to-date and easy to understand.
  • You identify bottlenecks and risks within the portfolio and help develop appropriate solutions.
  • You will assist with clear reporting, documentation, and process support.

You are a natural facilitator; you organize and connect people. You ensure that meetings run smoothly and that actions are actually carried out. You are meticulous, analytically strong, and switch easily between different tasks and stakeholders. You have an eye for detail, but also for the big picture, and you understand the administrative dynamics within a municipal organization.

  • Planning and organizing: You maintain an overview of the entire portfolio and capacity issues.

Job Requirements:
  • Relevant higher professional education (HBO) degree or demonstrable HBO-level work and thinking skills
  • A specialized training course or certification, such as Management of Portfolios (MoP), is a prerequisite
  • Experience in portfolio and capacity management.
  • Knowledge of project-based and programmatic work.
  • Proficiency with digital systems and Microsoft Office.



Team
You will be working within the Central Portfolio Support (CPO). The CPO is a multidisciplinary team responsible for the central coordination of portfolio management. Together, we ensure strategic alignment, efficient decision-making, and maximum value creation for the organization. The portfolio director leads the CPO and serves as the link to the board and management.
