Role description and task arrangements
Are you an IT professional with a passion for innovation? The Municipality of Emmen is looking for a Medior Application Packager to accelerate its digital transformation.
The assignment
The municipalities of Borger-Odoorn, Coevorden and Emmen (BOCE) plus four partner organizations want to be modern organizations where employees can do their work in a pleasant way and collaborate independently of location. This includes a modern workplace with modern ICT resources including applications in the M365 tenant, a Windows 11 laptop, mobile devices and Azure Virtual Desktop.
With the 'Samen Digitaal' program, the municipalities of Borger-Odoorn, Coevorden and Emmen are taking a big step towards a smart way of working together for the more than 3,200 employees. Modern means, time and location independent, ease of use and security are paramount.
As an application packager, you are part of the team responsible for packaging the applications to be used in the new workplace. The packaging coordinator is responsible for offering and prioritizing the applications to be offered to the users. Within the packaging process we work with intake documents, technical tests and functional tests. As packager, you are familiar with this method of working and you also guide the functional manager during the testing of the application. We work with intune, MSIx, Win32 and the digital signing process in TMeditX.
Who are we looking for?
-You have a completed MBO education
-You have previously independently created packages for Windows 11
- You are familiar with Windows 11, Azure Virtual Desktop and Intune
- You have experience with TMeditX
- You have experience with the MSIX Packaging Tool
- DevOps is your way of working!
- Extensive knowledge of Azure, connectivity and standardization therein
- Familiar with the package process as intake, packaging, technical and functional testing.
What commitment do we expect?
- 36 hours per week of available time
- Ability to pack independently and organize appointments
- On Tuesdays at Emmen location due to our collaboration day in the project
