Process Supervisor Licenses Events and Beverage & Hospitality (temporary)

Location: Emmen

Hoursper week: 32-36 hours
Start date: As soon as possible
Option to extend: Yes
Workplace: At least 50% on site (Tuesday and Thursday required)

For the Vergunningen, Leefomgeving (VLO) team, we are looking for an experienced process supervisor to temporarily supervise the integration of the fields of event licenses and liquor and catering affairs. The goal is to arrive at a shared working method within six months, with three permanent employees controlling both fields and the workload being evenly distributed and transparent.

What will you do?

  • Coordinate work within both fields.
  • Guide employees in learning each other's craft.
  • Analyze and describe work processes.
  • Establish working arrangements and ensure assurance.
  • Report on progress (after 3 months) and advise on structural cooperation (after 6 months).
  • Temporary deployment on line work at peak times, illness or downtime, in conjunction with permanent staff.

What do you bring?

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience within municipal licensing in the areas of liquor & hospitality and events.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of event licensing and liquor and hospitality laws.
  • Experience with Bibob procedures.
  • Experience in process coaching and team coaching.
  • Available for 32 hours per week, at least 50% of which must be on-site.
  • Independent and proactive in picking up tasks.

Desirable qualities:

  • Experience guiding change processes in executive teams.
  • Strong communication and connecting skills.
  • Experience in preparing reports and advisory documents.

Competencies:

  • Connecting: You know how to engage employees in change and encourage collaboration.
  • Coaching: You support employees in developing new skills.
  • Analytically strong: You can understand processes and describe them clearly.
  • Results-oriented: You work toward concrete, secured improvements.
  • Communication Skills: You interact smoothly between team members, managers and external parties.
  • Independent and proactive: You take initiative and keep an overview.
