About the Public Affairs Team
The Public Affairs Team is a close-knit, service-oriented team that values professionalism, collaboration, and hospitality. We do not have a 9-to-5 mentality and—partly because working from home is not possible—we put a lot of energy into mutual connection and team spirit. Collegiality, humor, and helping each other are second nature to us. Together, we ensure smooth service delivery to our residents.

What will you be doing?
As a Civil Affairs Desk Clerk, you are the face of the municipality. No two days are the same: you constantly meet different residents, each with their own questions and situations.

Your tasks will include:

  • Applying for, processing, and issuing identity cards, passports, and driver's licenses.
  • Performing BRPtasksand administrative processes.
  • Helping residents at the counter and clearly explaining procedures and required documents.
  • Identifying anomalies — you play an important role in the reliable execution of civil affairs.
  • Accurate processing of applications in our systems.

Who are you?
You are someone who gets energy from human contact and who always strives for quality. Furthermore:
  • You have a welcoming attitude and feel responsible for giving residents a warm welcome.
  • You are able to switch between tasks and systems effectively, even during busy periods.
  • You work accurately and are focused on quality.
  • You are flexible and willing to work according to a schedule, including possible evening openings in the future.
  • You preferably have experience in Civil Affairs or Public Affairs.

What do we offer?
  • A warm, committed, and professional team with short lines of communication.
  • A position in which variety, responsibility, and contact with residents are central.

  • A stable, collegial work environment where your contribution counts.
  • Terms of employment in accordance with the collective labor agreement for municipalities.
